A joint initiative to establish the Monument for the first FIM Rally
The Monument initiative has been launched by Estonia's most active motorcycle club Wildcards MC and the International Women's Motorcycle Association WIMA Estonia.
The first FIM Rally story…
Prior to the 1936 Berlin Olympics, Estonians triumphed in the first FIM Rally. The competition, organised by the International Federation of Motorcyclists (F.I.M.), featured 14 top Estonian motorcycle riders, including the well-known female motorcyclist Agnessa Kook-Männi.
The Estonian team won by a significant margin, scoring 15727 points and far surpassing the second-place team from Luxembourg, who scored 2610 points. The chairman of the FIM presented the winners with a large international traveling trophy. The journey back to Estonia proved challenging, as the riders had to deal with mechanical failures and falls on rain-slicked asphalt. Despite the difficulties, the victorious riders eventually made it home safely.
